New crispy 7″ – Move No Mountains

Published on July 26, 2012

There it is: a brand new 7″ 45-er. The A-Side delivers a top-notch and sparkly modern Soul song which was originally published in the early 1970s.  Since the original version by Margie Joseph was released, at least half a dozen artists have covered the track. Laura Vane and the Vipertones bring an inspiring and honest take to the table, one fit for the soul-led global dance floor! Tight and brisk! This is a charming mid-tempo track that brings out Laura’s powerful voice to the max!  Read more…

Sugar Fix

Published on April 15, 2011

As their second album Sugar Fix arrives on the doorstep of the worlds’ music stores, Laura Vane and The Vipertones have already started down the addictively sticky road of soul and funk, now to lightly dust their creations generously with pop! With undeniably catchy radio songs such as the surf-chic ‘Capsize’ and sing-along title track ‘Sugar Fix’, this album is a collection of music which unashamedly flaunts what the Dutch/English alliance are capable of. Laying down a rich variety of styles, they are flirting with traditional soul and funk grooves and adding a contemporary twist. This record is a feast for the listener. Buy: iTunes - Bol.com - Velvet Music
